Objectifs

L’année 2017 verra effective la création officielle du Laboratoire International Associé « Matière : Structure et Dynamique » (LIA-MSD) qui concrétisera plusieurs décennies de collaboration franco-chilienne dans les domaines de la physique statistique et de la physique non-linéaire. À cette occasion, le GDR PHENIX organise, avec le soutien du CNRS et de l’ENS de Lyon, une rencontre autour des thèmes de recherche qu’il partage avec le LIA-MSD. Ainsi, de nombreux collègues chiliens participeront à cet événement, international, qui se déroulera du 10 au 12 juillet 2017 à l’ENS de Lyon.

La rencontre portera sur l'étude, tant d’un point de vue expérimental que théorique, de milieux complexes qui font apparaître le rôle prépondérant de la non-conservation de l'énergie (dissipation ou milieux actifs), des non-linéarités, de l'anisotropie, des hétérogénéités,... Nous considérerons ces systèmes de la physique à l’échelle de la microstructure à l'apparition de motifs dans des situations aussi variées que la déformation ou la fissuration de matériaux granulaires cohésifs, de mousses, de couche minces, en particulier anisotropes. De plus, une place toute particulière sera accordée aux travaux considérant, d’une part, la génération ou la propagation d'ondes en milieux complexes et, d’autre part, l’analyse et le traitement du signal ou des images.
